New Children’s Album Turns Up The Volume On Self-Esteem, Social Survival
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida – January 14th, 2019 – Fresh on the heels of their well-received holiday single, “Santa Spirit,” the manners-centric Schnauzers of Crystal Tree Group’s children’s brand “Sir Dapp!” showcase original music in the fictitious band Sir Dapp & The Paw Prints’ debut full-length album, “This Is Our Time.” Released January 1stof this year, it has been recognized by the Tillywig Toy & Media Awards for “Best Family Fun.”
The animated group’s sound taps genres from rock, to pop, to jazz, while insightful lyrics address topics that include self-image, kindness, respect, and the power of words. Written and produced by Jeanne Marie Tidwell of CTG and Luciano “Looch” Delgado of Miami Beach Recording Studio, the quality music sets the stage for insightful moments between kids and parents, dance, and just plain fun.

Bob “The Duck” Duckman, midday host of Washington D.C.’s WNAV 1430 and weekend DJ on WASH FM radio, believes the Sir Dapp vibe has great messages wrapped in non-traditional kids music. “The first time I heard it, I loved “Santa Spirit,” says Duckman. “The song had the true feeling of the season, and I played it as part of our holiday music.”
The real-life singers are seasoned recording artists Eli Jacobson of The Sing-Off, and Orlando’s renowned a cappella group VoicePlay, and Rachel Potter of “X Factor”, Broadway’s “Addams Family”, “Evita” and “Wicked”, and currently Nashville country band “Steel Union.” Both are thrilled to showcase their exceptional range with the Sir Dapp album.
